This is a hands-on school. You’ll have a rod in your hands much of the time as Rich personally coaches you through each new skill and concept.

drag, Manually controlling fly depth, speed, and behavior, Adjusting your
presentations as you move through changing water types.

School Format:
One-day school features two 3-hour on-stream
sessions with a one-hour break between sessions
(bring your own food and drinks).
Bring your favorite spring creek rod and reel equipped with a floating
line (3-, 4-, or 5-wt. recommended). Some 4-wt. and 5-wt. outfits are available
for use at no charge.
Bring a working supply of flies, tippet, and
indicators. A short list of suggested items is provided, and most anglers will
already have these. Some flies are provided so that students develop a feel for
presenting some of Rich’s favorite spring creek patterns.
Deposits: A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve
the school date. Balance is due on completion of the school.
